londonbrew (1), USA does not count Aug 22, 2007 I don’t know what the rest of these reviewers were drinking, there is no medicinal aftertaste. Yes, it is a little cloudy but within BJCP guidelines for a pale ale. This is a good example of a pale ale. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA May 22, 2007 Awesome pale ale here. Real nice citrusy/flowery hop aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet and complements the aroma nicely. Smooth refreshing body. Very good pale. Sickboy282 (1098), San Diego, California, USA Nov 30, 2005 Poursa golden yellow hue with a frothy white head. Aromas of pine, orange, and a nuty note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a flavors of pine, a little chemically/medicinal and a nice bitterness. Gives you that toothpaste finish. zug4abby (287), San Diego, California, USA Nov 23, 2005 Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a decent sized bubbly head and fairly sticky lacing. aroma is grassy and weak, just not really impressive to the nose at all. The flavor is like chewing a chunk of crappy tasting grass and has strong medicine like flavors. This really not an enjoyable beer at all, however, it’s not a total drain pour. Vac (2389), San Diego, California, USA Nov 14, 2005 This stuff pours with a golden body topped by a thick, white head with some lacing. It’s slightly sweet yet slightly bitter, flowery and medicinal with a real odd flavor, Ugh! Medium bodied, smooth and a touch dry.
