AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA May 22, 2007 Pretty standard amber ale here. A bit on the dry side and lacking any hop characteristics. Some caramel flavors. OK. footbalm (1218), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Feb 5, 2007 Bottle in trade. Pours an amber color with a massive amount of foam, so much foam that this might have been infected.Too bad as it didn’t smell that bad but boy was there a mess. cbkschubert (1945), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA Sep 6, 2006 22 oz. bottle via trade with IrishBoy - Pours a deep dark amber color with a nice light tan head. From here it went down hill. Has an oxidized carmel malt aroma. Flavor is harsh caramel malt. Has an astringent aftertaste. Don’t think I can finish it. Thanks for the bottle Richard. IrishBoy (2686), Bakersfield, California, USA Jul 27, 2006 On tap at the brewpub but I purchased it in bottles also; Nose of coffee with some citrus notes, Hazy brown color witha small tan head, flavor of coffee and more coffee with a small hop finish
