Bottle from Pepsican. Thanks dude! Pours almost black with a big bubbly thin tan head. Aroma of bourbon, oak, and tart cherries. Maybe a little roast too. Bourbon, tart cherries, some roast, some more tart cherries, some oak, and some more bourbon make up the flavors of this one. Lots of lingering oak/bourbon. Not hot. I like the tart cherries and how they mix with the bourbon. Nice stuff.

Thanks Gillard! Pours a clear brown with little head. Sweet, woody aroma. Flavor is tart and slightly sour with a distinct cherry tone. Sweet, hardly woody at all, and very little hoppiness. Tasty!

Bottle, courtesy Gillard. Pours a dark brown color, with a fizzy head with some lacing on the glass. Tart cherries in the nose, with a stinging alcohol punch, some soy sauce, and slight caramel. Apple cider tartness, with cherries. Malty character finishes strong, with caramel and chocolate. Bourbon hits big with each sip. Surprisingly drinkable, very tasty.

Pour was dark brown yet very clear. Aroma of light cherries, malt, and alcohol. Taste was very mellow and well blended. Cherry flavor was natural, malt was balanced well and not over-powering, and the alcohol was well hidden. Good brew. Would buy again.

thanks to fantomas! Cherry, woody, with hints of vanilla in the aroma. Pours dark brown with pink edges. Cherries come out right away, tart berries, then a huge oak flavor, bourbon, old wood, vanilla beans, with a slightly tart finish and little alcohol burn (not sure how much is in there but i taste it alittle)

Sampled at DLD 2008. Holy hell thats a strong scented brew! If you could burn a cherry with boiling chocolate, i think you’d hit this one pretty close. A lot of alcohol content and just the rough around the edges aspect makes this a sipper, and a very enjoyable one at that.
