doubelknv3 (466), Illinois, USA Aug 3, 2008 Very light, mild citrus aroma. Golden, carbonated with white head. Citrus, sour fruit (apricot?) and metallic flavor notes. Lack of hop notes; watery with mild bitter finish. keoki182 (298), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA Jul 3, 2008 Pours a pretty orange/bronze with a good finger worth of solid off-white head. Beer appears somewhat cloudy, but tons of tiny bubbles race to the top throughout. Very nice orange fruit aroma. Good bitterness in the taste but leaves as quickly as it appears. If I were drinking this in a blind taste test, I’d think it was an IPA rather than an American Pale. Well done. csbosox (971), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Jun 29, 2008 12oz bottle. ~10mo old bottle. Wildflower honey and orange in the aroma along with a little biscuit. Smells great. Hazy copper color with a small, but pretty, off-white head. Taste is resiny and bitter with citrus and light pine. The malt shows itself briefly, near the end, but the finish is all hops and hops bitterness. I wonder what this is like fresh, probably a good old Wisconsin Hop Bomb similar to Ale Asylum’s Hopalicious. laguerita (72), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jun 10, 2008 not much of an aroma. a pretty mild and slightly fruity front finishes super bitter. refreshing and very drinkable. phishpond417 (1418), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 6, 2008 This beer pours an amber body, and just like the description says, it has a very sharp bitterness, that is a little unbalanced in my opinion. Hops are quick to give way to very smooth caramel undertones and biscuit malts. Aroma is pleasent, floral and soft pine.
