| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 25, 2009 Bottle. Clear golden pour, little carbonation and bad funk aroma. Flavor was pretty unimpressive, some malt and honey sweetness and finished without the funkiness that the aroma had. Overall, not my kinda beer. JK (2967), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Apr 24, 2009 Unprocessed grain flavor. Gold, and very light. Some honey, and a little lager yeast. I am sorry to say this just isn’t very good. eaglefan538 (2403), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 23, 2009 Bottle from Bockyhorsey. Poured a golden color with some haze, nice generous initial head, thinning over time to a mere ring, but lacing was decent. The aroma was strong grains, honey, and some sulfur-like DMS. The flavor followed suit, malty sweet, slightly overpowering in that regard, but full of honey (did they add some after the fermentation?). The mouthfeel was a tad big for a blonde ale, but this was a decent brew, just needed to finish more dry and/or hopped. Thanks, Bill! nuplastikk (1252), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 13, 2009 12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan color. Mildly sweet, subdued aroma. Easy on the palate, quite smooth and drinkable. The honey is well incorporated with the malt and crisp balanced bitterness. A little thin, but it sort of helps the honey not come off too thick. Good stuff, I’d try it again. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 6, 2009 Courtesy of Skyview. Gold color with a medium head. Light aroma of tart lemons. Dry wheat taste. A little dusty and grainy. Not much honey left. Bockyhorsey (2554), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 8, 2009 12oz bottle courtesy of mother in law. Honey and standard beer aroma. Darker honey body with white head. Sticky honey nector like they just took a full honey bee rack and soaked it in the brew like a tea bag. Heavy and filling near the end. Thanks mom. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 1, 2009 Had a light rice and honey aroma. Very light pour. barely any honey added with very light malt characters. Finishes with light honey. Real boring beer. Brigadier (1253), Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA

Thanks to noncaloric for sending this last week in a trade. I am a fan of Central Waters as they often seem to do decent beers and occasionally exceptional ones. This is a bit boring (being a golden ale) but if I still lived in Madison would make a great daily drinker assuming it is an annual release.
Aroma / Appearance - The short lived bubbly head was the color of the muddy slush in the driveway. Below was a transparent carbonated creamy brown liquid which swished around the glass easily. As it did I picked up whole grain cheerios, lemon zest, and a trace of peach. Light and easy there was not much to this one.
Flavor / Palate - The lemon is quickly subdued by a pleasant hoppiness and grain. As it fades very quickly there is not much to talk about. However it makes a perfect lawnmower beer at the same price as many larger breweries’ offerings.
