Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 15, 2008 Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of grass and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with noets of caramel, leading to a dry finish where notes of caramel and straw lingers around. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.
marchcow (523), Coralville, Iowa, USA Oct 31, 2008 Light malty aroma, hay, some citrus. Reddish brown with a bubbly tan head. Flavor is brownish malt with mild caramel notes, some earthy bitterness, root vegetables, and nuts. Dryish and slightly bitter on the finish. Mild palate. noncaloric (196), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Oct 9, 2008 Aroma: Sweet malts and hay. Appearance: Hazy red-brown pour, modest off-white head, spotty lace. Flavor: Sweet malts dominated by nutty and tea flavors. Sweetness offset by strong hay-like hoppy bitterness. Finishes with green apples and grass. Palate: Sharply carbonated, finishes dry and modestly warming. Bockyhorsey (2056), Mesa, Arizona, USA Sep 21, 2008 12oz bottle courtesy of mother in law. Aroma was not much more than sweet malts. Amber body with off white head. Did leave a good amount of lacing on the glass. Flavor just a regular beer not much more than that. Blah for me. mcjay (130), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA Sep 20, 2008 Updated: Oct 5, 2008Amber/copper color with a foamy tan head. Aroma of floral hops and caramel malt.
