| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Dec 7, 2009 Pours a deep brown color with a moderate beige head. Aroma consists of oatmeal, roasted malt, coffee and milk chocolate notes. Taste is a dominated by the bitter coffee and sweeter oatmeal tastes. On a smaller scale, the bitter roasted malt and the sweeter chocolate balance eachother. Very drinkable, not overwhelming imperial stout. MrChopin (669), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 27, 2009 Bottle thanks to drseamus (BA)! Dark brown with a soapy cream head. Nose has a great balance of chocolate, licorice, and mango. Fruity flavor, like a strawberry smoothie, also chocolate, bitter roast, and strong licorice. The oddly creamy finish, coupled with the roast, doesn’t go well with the thin body and fruit, and whats left behind is odd. As it warms, the roast notes go very green and rather unpleasantly astringent. Some interesting elements, but not a great mixture. thomson1 (9), Illinois, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 4, 2009 Mark this as a highly underrated stout. Perfect for a sit down by the fire, late game or snowy night. A little in the sweeter side for a stout but the best I have tried out of Central Waters. BOLTZ7555 (1107), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
