Ugh....awful beer. Aroma and taste had this garbage juice vegetalness to it. Bleach comes out as it warms, though it did not warm much as I finished this in about 2 agonizing minutes.

Pours a clear pale golden with a spotty-lacing small froth of white head. Aroma of pale malt with some grassy herbal hop notes and a hint of light fruits. Starts with a light malty sweetness and a touch of grainy character with soft maize and bland hop balance. Has decent body for the style and doesn’t really have any off-flavors. Pretty smooth and very drinkable, just nothing to get too excited about.

Pours a clear pale yellow with lots of bubbles and a thin layer of foamy white head. Aroma is sweet and corny with a bit of grassiness. Flavor is sweet corn and a tad touch of lemongrass. Overall, this is your typical pale lager, though with a tad bit more body than most.

The bottle I had was called Ed Hardy Premium Lager by Christian Aufnager (or something like that). A bit of cheese in the aroma. Brass-gold pour. Honey malt sweetness dominates the flavor, with diacetyl too, pretty sugary and fizzy. Maybe some lime would have improved it. I did not realize that this was a Mexican brewery’s attempt to fool people (like me, I admit) into thinking that they have purchased an English or German beer. Pretty decent tho, I did not think it was as bad as a lot of raters did.

Sampled this at a beer convention and immediately got flashbacks of marketing douche-bags running a beer company, Queer Beer in SF came to mind. I thought it was bad when there was a Von Dutch energy drink, but this is too much. Had the beer, it was light, awful, and just bad, it technical terms it was clear fizzy, lacking flavor, and seemed like it came out of one of those brew your own kits at Cost Plus. But the kicker to this striped shirt, red bull drinking crowd that was slinging the stuff, instead of talking about the beer, they were hyping up the alleged artist with scissors cutting up shirts and making them look all Ed Hardy and stuff, whatever that was. These guys need to be excommunicated from the beer world, if it succeeds I can see an Oprah beer on the way.

Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is corn, wet grass, and a little buttery popcorn. Flavor is buttered cereal, and a little metal.

Bottle. Pours an average amber with a nose of plastic malt and stale leaves. Flavor is wet leaf, faint roasted malt, and a sweet doughy finish. Watery mouthfeel. Premium in name only.

Rather nice leathery or mild old blast furnace slag aroma. From a 12 0z pop top bottle. Crisp and clean looking pale american lager appearance. Seems a little viscous, no that must be my lager imagination. Very nice creamy tingling carbonation on the first hit. Well behaved pale lager initial attributes. Some processed after taste following each slug, but not too bad. Another big gulp and its still well mannered. Finish is ok except for the slight processed linger. Yes, certainly your typical premium beer! heheh, Reminds me of something I’d get from lion brewing so I guess its no coincidence there is a tiger on the label.

[Bottle] Saw this in the single bottle area and decided to give it a try. Pours a light yellow color with lots of carbonation but little head. Aroma of corn. Taste of corn and diacetyl. Slightly better body than the light version. Still a pretty awful beer, but don’t worry cause the douchebags will still buy it.
