Firm then fading carbonation. Lack of distinction. Mainly watery with a suggestion of caramel - perhaps a bit of vanilla and something nutty. A slight smudge of dirty hop extract in the finish. This is very nondescript. Inoffensive to the point of pointless. However flavours are here - faint licorice and a hint of pepper or nutmeg. Possibility of dried green apple. Carbonation remains pointed. [2.1] RichardGretton (3145), Leicestershire, England
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 22, 2007 Bottle. Pale golden beer with a light head. The aroma is malty and dry and the flavour is like dry lemonade. Overall a below average beer. Aurelius (2648), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 20, 2007 Sweet, cereal malt aroma. Festive label, clear standard pale lager. Sweet and malty, pretty decent for a tropical lager. A little metallic twinge here and there, medium-light body. You could certainly do worse in a 3rd-World cantina. faroeviking (6034), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 1, 2006 Bottle. Got this on over the Atlantic going from Buenos Aires to Madrid. Pale yellow colour with a short lasting head. Weak malty aroma. Bit strange malty flavour that does not really have much taste to it. Short aftertaste. A typical latin straw lager. johndoughty (2156), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 24, 2006 The bottle I tried bought from the wonderful Beers of Europe was 4.7 per cent rather than 4 per cent. Not that it made a lot of diffence. No matter what the strength on the bottle says this is still a bland and weak lager with few redeeming features apart from being my first from Columbia. It may also be my last. leaparsons (4725), Leicester, Leicestershire, England
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Oct 28, 2006 Bottle. Light gold with a white foam. Aromas are grain, corn and lemon. Flavours are minimal malts with cardboard, grain and corn. Tastes stale. Some soapiness, too. Pretty bad. Bov (5445), Bienne, Switzerland
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 24, 2006 cloudy golden colour with almost no foam; only paperboard appears in the nose; neutral and light-bodied; effervescent; sweetish malty finish with more carton-like notes - what a poor beer ! boredatwerk (21), Chester, New Jersey, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Aug 23, 2006 Started out not so bad. Nice pour, very little, almost frothy head that dissapates quickly. Clear body with champagne esk carbonation. Light hoppy nose with strands of corn. Then it dies.....No beginning middle or end, just a light bitter, almost dry mouth feel. It’s like drinking a beer without the beer flavor. Looks like a beer pours like a beer, what happened?
