Commercial Description:
Made for men and women who enjoy alcoholic beverages‚ Brava intensifies life’s moments‚ as its high alcoholic content allows for maximum enjoyment. Brava is a lager beer‚ pilsner variety‚ with 6.5% alcohol content by volume. Brava is characterized by its fine aromas achieved from an optimum balance of aromatic hops and after an excellent fermentation process. Brava does not create a sensation of fullness thanks to its slightly bitter residual content‚ alcohol‚ and its bubbles which grant it a highly refreshing quality.

Can... Clear, yellow lager with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Grainy aroma with notes of mash, jalapeno and popcorn. Well-balanced and fairly refreshing. Medium to full-bodied and lightly creamy with fizzy carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean. Much better than expected. Thanks go out to my friend and former client, Angela, for bringing this brew back from Bogota!

Not much aroma but what’s there is okay. Really pretty decent given the comparable lagers available in Bogota, plus it’s 6.5%, so better and more potent!

Has a dark golden color. The head is white, without cord. The aroma is to citruses, not good. In paladar, is smooth, somewhat alcoholic. Average body, quite watery. Outside which is quite alcoholic, it is a blonde beer common.

One of the better Colombian beers....I heard this is discontinued now though....sad. I had this on one of my last nights in the country...and I wish this was my usual beer. It isn’t much...the color is pale, the flavor is weak...but it is still better than the other Colombian beers. It really quenched my thirst though...it was really good with my cheeseburger.....so that is good.

Can, 330 ml Pours a clear, flat dark golden color. Head is white, medium and fully diminishing. It leaves no lacing. Aroma is malty with slight hints of german hops but very light overall. Some apples and a trace of citrus appear later on. Notes of white grapes, pineapple, some alcohol and grains too. Not bad. Flavor is sweet with good alcoholic presence. A bitter note comes from the carbonation attacking the tongue with lemony touches. A hint of grass is there also. Rather crisp. Body is light to medium. Texture is watery. Very high, fizzy carbonation. The finish is alcoholic and leaves and aftertaste of Punch. Very quaffable macro lager.

A thousand thanks to <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/View-User-31163.htm&g for sharing this beer.

A golden lager with a thick collapsing white head. Aroma of sulfury malt. In mouth, a crisp malt followed by metallic notes. The alcohol is not felt. Overall, not terrible. Olimpica, Bogota, 1650 COP.

Can (330cc). Shared with mds and tupalev, mds’s can. snazzy red foil cap!!! Pale clear gold, diminishing small frothy off-white head. Moderate ass aroma, grainy, sugary, a little boozy, but clean ... sort of. Weak body, soft, grainy, sweet finish, almost like apple juice. Ehh. Doesn’t taste 6.5%
