Another beer that I had on my trip to Chile. This beer had a modest grainy hops aroma with maybe slight notes of yeast and barley. The color was clear yellow-gold with a thin head with small features. It had a bitter taste with some grain present, and a light sweetness too. The body was thinner with average carbonation, a light mouthfeel and was somewhat dry. Nothing too distinguishable about this beer, but it was ok.

Aug 24, 2009 Bottle. It’s yellow, it’s white, it’s beery, it’s industrially bad. Indistinguishable from Cristal except in price.

Jul 29, 2009 Many samples from the omnipresent 1 liter glass bottles with screw off PLASTIC caps. Sweet hay. A vegetal mess of a beer.

Jun 23, 2009 How surprising Corona is as bad as in palate says since I was young. this one was creamy and sweet, a little, good foam and nice shape. Was my last Chilean beer from my actual stash.

May 31, 2008 Fortunately I didn’t have to pay for this beer whilst I was in Chile, not saying it was off or bad it just didn’t have anything standing out to talk of.

Feb 21, 2008 Very tasty with body.
Also drinkable at higher temperatures indicating its valuable aromas.
Reminiscent of Belgian Jupiler and Bolivian Paceńa.
Less bitter than the original Pilz, making it more accessible to a broader public.

Oct 18, 2007 Bottle, poured a ruddy amber with a bubbly white head. A sweet malty aroma, slightly hoppy. Quite carbonated, with a sweetness in the palate again, but with a stronger bitter hoppiness which heightens in the finish.

Jul 30, 2007 Slightly better than most Chilean macros. Malty flavour, medium body, medium bitterness. Drink cold and it will be your saviour for summer.
