Commercial Description:
Costa Ricans have been enjoying this beer since 1924. Imperial is created from a balanced formula combining malts, grains and hops, without a pronounced overtone in its taste. It is what is known as a “centralized” beer. Adapted to a warm and spring-like climate, Imperial is Florida’s most popular and widely accepted beer, both nationally and internationally, and has thus become the favorite beer of Costa Rica.

Another exotic location pale lager except this one can be found right here in the US. Pours yellow and fizzy with a white head. Smells of straw, hints of hops, pepper. Tastes of corn, some mild citrus, pepper, spice.

Bottled. Honestly just tallying up a beer from Costa Rica. Better than expected though Probably an average pae lager all the way around but refreshing in warm weather and more taste than the normal yellow, fizzy water.

Appearance: pale yellow color. Lithe head of white color and without persistency. Aroma: mainly of adjunct grains. Maybe some lemon-skin notes. Light pellet hops. Flavor: dominated for the adjuncts. Mineralized touches and a slight dryness. Palate: light body and watery texture. Medium to high carbonation. Remark: very bad beer, totally insipid. I can’t finish this beer.

Bottled. pale gold body with a lightly off white head. the aroma was rich with some butter and strange corn. The taste was lightly bready with plenty of corn. There was also some old celery. Pretty bad.

Can. Poured a clear yellow with a small white head. Grainy aroma with a mild sweetness. Sweet malt flavor with notes of toast, honey and old cut grass. Light body with a long mild bitterness.
