bitbucket (1434), Kirkland, Washington, USA Apr 27, 2008 Can. Thanks, after4ever! Pours pale yellow with a thin white head that quickly descends to a ring of foam. Light aroma, vaguely like a watered-down saison. Light body, watery texture, medium carbonation. Tastes is thin, but in the pale lager ballpark. Bonus points for a little bit of honey in the taste, penalty points for slight hints of vegetable and metal on the exit. This was the best pale lager of the night, so not a good outing for the style. But given a really hot day, a cold can of this beer would be pretty good.
heemer77 (3536), North Liberty, Iowa, USA Jun 29, 2008 Bottled. pale gold body with a lightly off white head. the aroma was rich with some butter and strange corn. The taste was lightly bready with plenty of corn. There was also some old celery. Pretty bad. goldtwins (3658), Nesconset, New York, USA Jun 28, 2008 Can. Poured a clear yellow with a small white head. Grainy aroma with a mild sweetness. Sweet malt flavor with notes of toast, honey and old cut grass. Light body with a long mild bitterness. nearbeer (1044), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jun 24, 2008 12 oz. Clear pale gold with a small lasting spit of a head. Aroma is honey and spicy grain. Flavor is a nice balance: honey and grain with a crisp peppery-cardboard and grass finish. Light body is watery and finishes dry. scottw86 (91), New York, USA Jun 22, 2008 Poured a clear yellow. Aromas of rice and some hops. Taste was mostly of rice, with some nice lager flavors. It was pretty smooth overall. martinboer (1243), Amsterdam, Netherlands Jun 19, 2008 Bottle in Northfield, MA. Yellow light body. Skunky nose. Refreshing lager taste. Hoppy, watery. Not bad at all really.
