Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered
Ingredients: Water; Two-row Barley; Chinook, Mt. Hood Hops; Yeast.
Our original formula. This brew is bright, deep golden yellow in color. The aroma is of sweet malt, lightly floral and hoppy. The flavor reflects its hop bitterness; slightly sweet, and just a perfect balance of two row barley malt, Chinook, Mt. Hood, and peerless hops that culminate to a very clean and semi-dry finish.

Urco questa me l’ero proprio dimenticata, bevuta al ristorante messicano in via Pre un po’ di tempo fa ormai... ovviamente pessima lager sudamericana, anche piuttosto offensiva; me l’hanno data con limone, bevuta a canna dalla bottiglia... :) che caccarotto.

12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Big blast of skunk as soon as the bottle is opened. Clear straw colored with a thin head, poor head retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet, grainy and slightly acrid malts. Cat-foodlike meaty vibe and a very faint bitterness. Taste is sweet malts. A bit grainy. Almost nothing else. Thin, watery. Seems cheap and very weird.

I’ll start by saying the best thing about this beer is that it contains alcohol. Nasty stuff that tastes exactly like malt liquor. I saw it at a bar and it was on special and looked like a typical Mexican lager. It didn’t taste like that. Stay away...

Bottled, BB 10/10/08 (and on the menu as "Rogue Mexicali".. double whammy.. it’s bad enough when Rogue re-labels their beers, but when a restaurant does it?!?). Poured clear, bright golden with a white head on it. The aroma picked up pale malts and a hint of lime (that may have come from the lime wedge they jammed in the bottle).. a touch of corny adjunct and cardboard too. The flavor had pale malt and corn again at the core with major salty character.. no real bitterness to note.. finished quick and salty. Light-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate. I don’t really need another.
