EHSRanders (1121), Randers C, Denmark Sep 23, 2009 Bottle. Clear golden colour with large creamy white mostly lasting head. Malty aroma. Sweet bitter flavor. Watery palate. dkachur (2316), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Aug 24, 2009 12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Big blast of skunk as soon as the bottle is opened. Clear straw colored with a thin head, poor head retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet, grainy and slightly acrid malts. Cat-foodlike meaty vibe and a very faint bitterness. Taste is sweet malts. A bit grainy. Almost nothing else. Thin, watery. Seems cheap and very weird. mstockton (186), Rochester, Michigan, USA Aug 23, 2009 I’ll start by saying the best thing about this beer is that it contains alcohol. Nasty stuff that tastes exactly like malt liquor. I saw it at a bar and it was on special and looked like a typical Mexican lager. It didn’t taste like that. Stay away... Ughsmash (3978), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Aug 15, 2009 Bottled, BB 10/10/08 (and on the menu as "Rogue Mexicali".. double whammy.. it’s bad enough when Rogue re-labels their beers, but when a restaurant does it?!?). Poured clear, bright golden with a white head on it. The aroma picked up pale malts and a hint of lime (that may have come from the lime wedge they jammed in the bottle).. a touch of corny adjunct and cardboard too. The flavor had pale malt and corn again at the core with major salty character.. no real bitterness to note.. finished quick and salty. Light-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate. I don’t really need another. charlotte (1997), Vanløse, Denmark Jul 7, 2009 Clear golden colour with small off-white head.Aroma is light fruity of lime and cactus, high carbonation and watery bitter finish light hoppy, but weak and boring. SilkTork (4155), Rochester, Kent, England Jun 28, 2009 300ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pale gold colour. Quite a grainy chewy, low quality mouthfeel. Most American lagers are poor quality. This is thin and nasty. Must be poor quality ingredients. I’m not sure where the hops are, they don’t make much of an appearance.
