Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered
Ingredients: Water; Two-row Barley; Chinook, Mt. Hood Hops; Yeast.
Our original formula. This brew is bright, deep golden yellow in color. The aroma is of sweet malt, lightly floral and hoppy. The flavor reflects its hop bitterness; slightly sweet, and just a perfect balance of two row barley malt, Chinook, Mt. Hood, and peerless hops that culminate to a very clean and semi-dry finish.

Bottled at Super Cucas while on the loop. I’m still shocked at the diversity and relative quality of the beer that was to be found on the loop. Freebirds sells pints of Pale 31 for 2.95 in a legit nonic? But I digress. This palest of pale lagers came in a twist-off bottle which was a curve-ball for a cerveza Mexicana. Faint aroma with a touch of mineral and skunk. Very light flavor with a snap of malt and kiss of hops that are both outshone by the mineral-water quality that dominates. I didn’t know how weak this was when I was drinking it but the mouthfeel definitely correlated with the sub-four percent abv. Really not bad but not good either. I had no problem drinking it in the sun out on the patio.

Bottle. Pours an orangeish yellow similar to Hurricane. Yes I’ve had Hurricane and deeply regret it...smell is just awful. I don’t know if there’s a word for that type of smell. Taste is an odd mix of mild hops and spice.

12oz bottle. Pours a light gold color with a quickly fading white head. The smell is a little grainy and skunky like cheap lager aromatics. The taste consists of sweet malts and grains. Light bodied and medium carbonation.
