Bottle. High creamy off-white head. Clear dark red brown body. Weak and sweet barley malt caramel aroma. Weak watery sweet corn barley malt flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short aftertaste. What a bore.

355ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Quite a sweetish dark lager. Has suggestions of a British regional brewery keg mild. Caramel notes. Quite drinkable and reasonably pleasant if undemanding. Dark beers tend to have more flavour and be more attractive than light beers, regardless of overall quality. Rather like wholemeal bread and white bread I suppose.
