Bottle. Chestnut brown with a thin head. Aromas are light molasses and weetabix with caramel. Flavours are cheap sweet cola with chocolate and wheat. Some medicinal notes. OK.

Damn, I gotta say I like this stuff. This is not the first time I’ve had a dark mexican beer that has been quite tasty. Poured out a dark clear mahogany beer with a good sized thick tan head that has great retention and produces slippery ropy lacing. The aroma is dry and a bit weak with grains and burnt sugar and toasted malts. The taste is along the same lines minus the grains - really malty with a some caramel. The mouthfeel is really good - smooth, good light carbonation and a low powered burnt and bitter finish. I need more. This stuff goes down very good.

It is mahogany with a small, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and the flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, caramel and a little nuts. Actually it is quite OK.

courtesy of laurent Mousson (WBA) - clear ruby-brown colur under a huge beige foam; aroma of wet malt and some caramel; moderate malt body which particularly fails on the end of the palate; sweet and slightly oily; short sweetish and caramelish aftertaste
