Clear golden yellow with a biggish head for a cask ale, great lacing. Fresh grass aroma with some lemon and black pepper, slight background of citrus. Bitter beginning, dry finish. Nice malt and hop balance. Medium body. Mellow cask ale, served a bit too cold, but drinkable overall.

Appearance: bright golden orange with a small white head. Aroma: lemon peel, orange, hops, yeast. Flavour: hops, malt, orange. Super dry. Long long dry finish. Almost annoying.

Cask at C’est What? (Toronto): Poured a straw color yellow with a nice head. The aroma was bitter. The flavor was bitter and smooth and VERY easy to drink. Quite refreshing!

Cask at C’est What? on 10th June 2008. A hoppy, pale straw-coloured cask bitter with the texture and flavour of Milton Sparta, but rather stronger and heavier.

On draft at C’est What. Pale copper in colour with moderate carbonation. Fairly simplistic aroma profile of mild citrus and grainy pale malts. Flavors are of orange marmalade, a bit of caramel + pale malts, and a touch of husky acidity. I found it a touch sticky in the mouth, but this is still a fairly good pint overall.

A golden ale with a thin creamy off white head. A pleasant British hops aroma with nice caramel notes and a bit of butterscotch. In mouth, a nice light English ale with restrained hops, a bit of citrus notes. On cask at C’est What, March 21, 2009.

On tap at C’est What. The color is golden with an off white head. The taste is malty with sweet caramel. There is a bitterness that is close to being sour must be the yeast. there is also some hops and citrus flavor to it. All in all a good esb.

Cask at C’est What - came a beautiful initially hazy honey colour with a thick white head. Citrusy aroma, tempered with yeast. Flavour incredibly well-balanced. Juicy hops and sweet malt mingle around a wave of yeast. A wonderful beer, and a good one to choose for session.
