| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 9, 2009 On draft at C’est What. Pale copper in colour with moderate carbonation. Fairly simplistic aroma profile of mild citrus and grainy pale malts. Flavors are of orange marmalade, a bit of caramel + pale malts, and a touch of husky acidity. I found it a touch sticky in the mouth, but this is still a fairly good pint overall. Lubiere (4552), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

The taste is malty with sweet caramel. There is a bitterness that is close to being sour must be the yeast. there is also some hops and citrus flavor to it. All in all a good esb. Citrusy aroma, tempered with yeast. Flavour incredibly well-balanced. Juicy hops and sweet malt mingle around a wave of yeast. A wonderful beer, and a good one to choose for session.
