Commercial Description:
Winner ’08 NM IPA Challenge, Gold ’08 NM State Fair, 3rd place ’08 Alpha King Challenge. Rahr 2-row, Rahr wheat malt, Simpson’s C-55, and Gambrinus Honey malt...and a whole lotta hops. The hops change from batch to batch, but one thing is for certain; the intention. This is a hop lovers dream. Over 4 lbs. /bbl. goes into this hop dream of a beer. Starting from the nose...the beer could be across the room and you’ll smell it. The the flavor. Jesus that’s a lot of hops. The finish is both dry and bitter as all hell. The body is lean yet satisfying. Cheers, Jeff

On tap at brewery. Pours golden orange with white head. Aroma is hops, caramel, citrus and some malt. Flavor is bitter hops, citrus, caramel malt and a touch of pine. Finsihes with bitter hops but with good malt backbone. Just as hoppy as the DIPA they had on tap tonight. Really solid IPA.

Tap at the restaurant 3/26/09. Bright gold and filtered. Soapy white head. Nose is huge hops, fruity, aromatic. Taste is a huge hop profile, not overly bitter, fluffy, smooth and very drinkable. Full body. Alcohol well hidden. Well done.
