This one was kind of a clear golden color with no head. Aroma is sweet with lots of banana and sugary candy scents. Taste was not that bad, but I couldn’t take too much of this. About a shot worth is all I can stomach. The wife liked it though..... DeweyDell (155), Columbus, Ohio, USA

I recall saying something similar about another beer, but this time I really mean it... it smells like Budweiser with a banana in it. Very banana. Tastes very sweet, very banana... reminds me of banana runts (the candy.) Kinda tasty... but not a great beer. DrHomolka (728), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Apr 23, 2007 12oz bottle. Pours a pale, clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma of banana, candy, bubble gum, and underneath a trace of the normal tart, sour lambic smell but not much of it. Tastes like banana and candy. I thought this was pretty good on my first sip but liked it less after each sip. If you like bananas and think a banana flavored beer would be your thing you would probably like this. Pretty straightforward and predictable. IrishBoy (2716), Bakersfield, California, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Apr 6, 2007 Bottle; Nose of banana and lite funk; hazy light amber, small offwhite head; flavor of sweet banana with a slight amount of funky tartness, but stiil too sweet like their others I’ve tried, maybe this is supposed to be a banana hefeweisen/lambic. mike1977ok (646), Netherlands

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 5, 2007 I’m a fan of bananas. I can see how one might wish for a banana soda pop, and then opt for one with a smidge of alcohol in it. So here we go: Clear yellow gold, no head, aroma of ovverripe bananas minus the peels. Flavor is banana candy, syrupy sweet but slightly tart, mouthfeel is straight-up soda pop. Could be worse. I’m tempted to throw in some rum and ice cubes. But this is beer only in the technical sense. Probiere (992), Iowa, USA
