Why? Why did I even bother buying this? Oohhh! Banana lambic! Wow! That sounds wierd! I’ve gotta try that! Sad mistake. Tastes like banana candy.

slightly clear, yellowish color, with small specks but not cloudy. fluffy white head that left real quick - with zero lacing. yeasty/musty nose. light tangy fizz and watery mouthfeel, banana soda flavor. this is wierd stuff. I think this might actually be banana soda. but no, it can’t be, there’s a funky, moldy cork flavor. there. I can now say that I’ve had a freakin banana lambic.

Pale clear, old gold yellow; faint white rim, little carbonation. Nauseating smell of banana-mash, overripe, and yet sweetened with unbelievably cheap syrup of indistinct descent. Taste again overripe banana, honey or honey-covered nuts, as in some Turkish dessert meant for catching wasps. Faint sourness, as if the bananas are fermenting. Slight sharp edge, light bodied. Truly disgusting.

Pours a urine yellow color with a frothy white head. Aroma is overripe banana with some yeasty notes. Flavor is banana. That’s it...banana. Body is a little strange, yeah this is a weird beer.

Clear pale yellow with a frothy white head. The aroma is overripe banana and not much else. If you like bananas, I mean REALLY like bananas, you might like the aroma. The flavor is all banana, no malt, no hops, no sour, no barnyard, no leather, what the hell is this stuff? Eeecckkk!!! Egads save me from this crap!

Pale blond color. Banana candies aroma. Too sweet and artificial, easy to drink but not a beer!

Judging how I rate this as compared to the other reviews of it, I really wonder how anyone could dislike this beer. Granted, I am not a big fruit beer drinker, but some do catch my attention. This happened to be one of them. It poured a cloudy yellow with a nice sized white head. The smell was of bananas, and lots of them. The taste followed with the banana flavor, with a nice balance of spiciness and just a litte bit tart. The finish left me wanting more as this really is a great beer, and one to try to mix things up from the ordinary.

Yellow-brownish hazy body. WHite, instantly disappearing head. Sourish banana aroma. Sweet banana flavour.
