If you give Elvis props for his style with Banana and Peanut Butter Sandwiches, If you like Bananas Foster as one of your favorite deserts and if like getting a buzz, then this is your decadent desert yummy boozy friend. historically I have yet to find a better pairing of booze and bananas two of my favorite B words. Aroma is synthetic, the head is high in carbonation, the color is a bit mealy and the flavor does knock this out of the beer category with it sweet tart candy runts vibe... but for a fun DRINK with Bananas....go here. gabrielsyme (66), Ohio, USA

Pours a golden yellow. Aroma is banana flavored Runts candy. Taste is as well, just more sour. Not as good as it sounds. Bleh. Wim (1321), Turnhout, Belgium

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Apr 17, 2008 Purchased at Foremost Sunset Corners. 12 oz capped and corked bottle. Golden color, white head. Big fruit aromas. Smells just like a ripe banana. The dark yellow one with the brown spots, yum. Flavor tastes like dried banana chips that come in that little green bag you’d find in the produce department. Sweet and flavorful. ChainGangGuy (2613), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Apr 13, 2008 I have been tricked into coming along on a "Tour of Chapeau" by unclemattie, the increasingly despicable curator of this Museum of the Damned.
Appearance: Pours a clear, golden body with a wispy, white head.
Smell: A synthetic banana aroma one might find in cheap banana-flavored candy. Splash of green bell pepper vinegar.
Taste: Synthetic bananas accompanied by a liquified candy sweetness. Some vinegar. A couple bay leaves. Nothing here to make you think "ah, now there’s a good lambic", but there’s plenty present to displease you.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Mild carbonation.
Drinkability: Grab a Cantillon, get yourself a 3 Fonteinen, but do steer clear of this mess. Those breweries show you what a lambic can be, while Chapeau horrifies you with what a beer should never be. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
