I must have gotten a good bottle of it because I liked it. Poured out a murky amber with no pretense of a head. The aroma of pineapples and brown sugar. Light bodied with gentle carbonation. The flavor was sweet pineapple. It was very one-dimensional but, hey, it’s a drink. Another summer sippable. biggcb (464), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA

Very good presence of pineapple in the flavor. Sweet, but not too sweet. A very interesting brew. redlight (1498), Winter Park, Florida, USA

Has a pineapple aroma. Light brown amber color, with no head. Tastes sweet, pineapple, and a hint of oak. schuimkroaat (395), Leuven, Belgium

Sweet odour with pineapple and rubber. Very sweet taste with pineapple and a little bit of cinnamon. Light teasing. MarkoR (224), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 30, 2006 The taste is not bad but the smell rapidly turns ugly. Aroma of rotten fruits. No head, no fizz, nothing. Like drinking a cocktail of your favorite candies when you were kid. Probiere (992), Iowa, USA

A 5 for palate as it hits the ’juice’ mark right on the nose! willblake (2191), Belcamp, Maryland, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 16, 2005 12.10.05 bottle, best by 1997. RLB YEHA-05. Clouded pale straw with lasting white head. Horrible combination of aromas include mint and rotten tropical fruits. Sickly sweet candy flavors with scads of pineapple candy and the dried fruit. Thanks for sharing this gem, Joe. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 12, 2005 Sampled at the Yeha, best before 1997. Poured a cloudy pale golden with a white head. Sweet candy pineapple aroma. Taste is one-dimensional sweet pinapple, like the syrup from canned pineapple. I don’t mind sweet so I didn’t really mind this that much. Perhaps it would be better if the beer were labeled as a fruit beer rather than a lambic.
