Sweet aroma of pineapple, caramel and coconut, reminds me of one of those tropical fruit Life Savers. Sweet flavor of caramel, pineapple, coconut and vanilla. Almost like a pina colada. Given the age of this bottle, it has held up very well. A little more carbonation would have helped to cut the sweetness. Cornfield (4963), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 3, 2005 I can easily understand why raters can say they don’t like this, believe me. But what I don’t understand is how they can honestly claim it looks bad. Sparkling golden in color with laid-back carbonation, it sports a tall, creamy white head. What about that cries out for a "1" rating? Be that as it may, I find the aroma to be... interesting, sweet and fruity with a powdery, floral, pollen-like topping. After that, things fall apart pretty quickly. It’s rather like drinking the syrup from a can of Dole’s sliced pineapples with a squirt of tonic added. Sweetened pineapple juice with pollen. Fascinating. The sticky sweet finish that attracts insects makes it that much more fun.

| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Aug 2, 2005 Easily one of the most lousy lambics in the world. Alcohol clocking in (via LCBO lab testing) at 1.5%ABV. Nose of nothing but stewed pineapple. Flat. Delmonte pineapple canning syrup candy necklaces. Light cheesiness. Cloying, sticky and nasty. iam (369), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

I was expecting a beer with some pineapple flavour but there is truely nothing at all like a beer here. mrkimchee (1414), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Jul 29, 2005 Truly awful. Bottle from lcbo. Syrupy dark yellow pour, no head. Aroma of musty pineapple, apple, lemon, honey and East Side Mario’s after dinner candy. Mouthfeel is thin and syrupy. Taste is the same as aroma in an unholy balanced of flavours that I’m never sure come together to create a beer. I have to credit my wife with the after dinner candy comment but it is so true, it is as if they melted those candies and let them ferment along with the rest of the ass-tastic flavours. Horrendous. jerc (3947), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 29, 2005 Bottle. Appearance of apple juice, with a thin white film of a head. Sweet candyish
pineapple aroma with hints of lambic and sweat socks. Candy fruit up front,
a bizarre middle with tart fruity sourness giving way to more sugary fruit
and pineapple in the finish. Thin saccharine palate. A bizarre concoction. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
