Bottle (330ml). Poured slightly cloudy yellow with a tinge of copper, a thin dribble of white head, non-stop large bubble action. The smell of sugar and overripe tropical fruit just about filled the room as I poured it - the nose is a blend of pineapple, papaya, mango, passionfruit, citrus - NOT rotten, just ... unfortunate. I get no beer notes at all. Tastes like a weak, sour cooler made up of above fruit essences, iron filings, with a harsh taste and harsher aftertaste, which gets worse and worse - foul, actually. Avoid.

(33cl bottle) Pours a syrupy pineapple nosed cloudy, amber body. The flavour matches the overly sweet candiness of this beverage. Alco-pop syrup from Belgium...

Hazy faded golden lambic with a thin white head. Smells like a pineapple lollipop, rather chemical in nature. In mouth, sickly sweet dentist room pineapple chloride teeth whitener, with some saving grace, the light tartness and faint horseblanket final.

(Bottle 25 cl) Only 1,5% ABV in my version. So far I haven’t really been all too impressed by the sticky, sweet De Troch fruit beers. But no rules without an exception. And actually this pineapple-beer is rather refreshing although I seriously doubt that the flavours are completely authentic. But don’t consider this a beer. rather a softdrink for hot summer days. 260498

Gold body decent white head and lovely two tone chunks. The aroma has a disturbng similarity to insecticide. Sure it is musty and yes there is pineapple in there, but insecticide. It is not exactly offensive, but then again this is something that I am going to drink not something that I plan on using in an act of genocidal rage against the wasp nest above my front door. The flavor is none too good, think dented can of 9 year old pineapple juice and you are getting close. Equally as bad as the banana lambic. Now Playing - Sleater-Kinney - The Woods.

Pours a combination of light gold and disgusting chunkiness, generous enough to provide large chunks of two separate colors. Just lovely. One of the worst beers I’ve ever smelled, like rotting pineapple mixed with a disgusting chemical undertone, can’t decide if it’s weed killer or extremely toxic bug spray. Taste-wise, it’s not as repugnant, just far too sweet, nasty pineapple, and loads of sugar mixed with a faint hint of something that might resemble a real lambic on its worst day. The European Union sets up all sorts of strange rules, right? I mean, they had some rule about spontaneously fermented beers at one point which threatened real lambic production, and I vaguely recall something about certain cheeses as well. If they can do that, why can’t they do something to stop these Chapeau people before they brew again?

250ml bottle from LCBO (mislabelled 1.5% ABV, way to go droogs.) Not bad aroma and colour, tropical fruits primarily pineapple. Sweet and candyish drink, very cloying. Some honest Lambic tartness underpins the sugary body preventing a total disaster, but this measure of good taste is not enough to merit consuming all these calories. Another badly misguided Franken-Lambic.

unbelieveable to even put this in this class....i guess there i s the good and the bad. reminded me of the mandalay bay resort smell....sweet pinappple coconut with something bad mixed in there. viscous and intensely sweet extract feel to the mouth. like a rancid medicine you have to choke down to get better.
