| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 31, 2009 Whitish Yellow and cloudy. Leprosy-like suds atop. Pineapple-strong nose that was musty, sweet and powdery. Sweet vivid pineapple flavors and somewhat tart in fruity ways. No funk...but then again, none was expected. Its certainly sweet and even though it can be argued that its overly sweet, its not anywhere near cloying or annoying and the pineapple notes are strong...and they are not artificial in any way, and, in fact...though it isn’t a serious lambic, you can’t seriously rate it as low as the rest of these retarded raters who are evidently, seriously mentally handicapped...because, unfortunately for them...it isnt that bad. garthicus (1311), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 30, 2009 Tiny bottle from the LCBO. Appearance: Orange/yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma: Loads and loads of overripe fruit, black bananas, bruised pineapples, soft apples, like being in a disposal area for fruit... Flavour: Very bitter, lots and lots of rotten fruit, long sweet sweet finish. What a confusing brew..... hmm JesseM (678), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 25, 2009 Lame-ass little 250mL bottle from the LCBO. Pours a pale yellow with a small white head. The aroma is straight up pineapple and mellon, maybe a bit of pear though I think I’m just making that up in my own head. Flavour is a mess of minor sourness and overly sweet fruity aspects. Way too carbonated. Some bitterness comes through in the finish which almost adds balance, so I guess I almost appreciate that. Still not something I’d go out of my way for, ever, and 2.40 CDN is insanely high for such a small bottle containing dubious beer. "I pre-orded 5 cases when I heard this was coming in....." Haha, if only we could get lambics that good in this province, *SIGH*. 17thfloor (1507), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 24, 2009 375 bottle bought on a recommendation. Pours a super clear light golden, like a pale lager, with a small fizzy white froth. Super super sugary sweet pineapple aroma, formaldehyde, barrel, some sour and funk. Holy sour candy, super sweet up front hard candy taste, candied pineapple, the woody barrel characteristic is actually fairly redeeming, Actually quite sour but overwhelmed by the sugar. Long sweet and sour aftertaste. Smooth sugary hard candy feeling in the mouth, medium bodied, smoothly syrupy, very soft fizzy carbonation. Probably best for using as a glaze in cooking rather than drinking. rabba9 (77), Chaska, Minnesota, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Color is golden yellow, reminds me of apple juice. Smell is of pineapple but also something akin to rubbing alcohol, not good. Tastes is very sweet, initial cider taste finishes with pineapple. Little carbonation or body. Not my favorite lambic, may be the worst I’ve had. Tripplebrew (502), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA
