Granted, I only got the sledge from the bottom of the bottle at the tasting, but it was okay. Smells nice, murky brown red color. The flavor has strawberry in it but is not intense. Interesting, but not a repeat.

Bottle. Pours a somewhat cloudy reddish/brown, with not much head. Aroma is strawberry, but not over-powering. Flavor is very strawberry, with a bit of sourness trying to balance the sweetness of the strawberry juice. Does a fair job of it. A little heartier than some of the others from this line.

Bottle. Better than the Apricot, which i had before it, but not a whole lot better. Stemmy, strawberry fruit character, like they threw in a bunch the leaves. Slightly cordialy sweet, but not as sweet as i was expecting. I don’t know, i don’t think it was too bad, obviously not that great though. But for one of these crappy sweet "lambic" beers, it wasn’t so bad.

Bottle: Cloudy chunky red in colour with a short lasting beige head. Horrible old-socks, rotting cheddar and fruit. Flavour is cloying sweet strawberry syrup with brown sugar and old, rotting fruit. Not good.

There is a light strawberry aroma. The color is a cloudy dirty brown with a large tan head. Head retention is fully lasting and there is considerable lacing. The flavor is of strawberries with a lightly sour finish.

For a chapeau surprisingly decent. Smell of strawberry, not really artificial. Cloudy, brown-red coloured with an off-white, thin head. Taste is sweet siruppy, fruity (strawberries) and a bit sour finish. Thick mouthfeel, more dry in the end.

The body is a very cloudy medium brown. It has a slightly pink colored head. The aroma is light and cheap strawberry candy along with some sickly sweet honey. There is also a little lambic character if you look for it. Some hay and a hint of balsamic vinegar. The taste is very sweet and artificial, like Chapeau’s other lambics. There is strawberry with a little bit of hay and some hint of mild sourness.
