Who on Earth doesn’t like strawberries? Just as I expected, nobody, that’s who! Color here is a pale red, very strawberryish, with virtually no head. Carbonation is high. Aroma: all strawberry, nuttin’ else! Maybe, if we need to describe it further, I’d offer up a touch of mustiness. On the palate, a huge charge at first, a little from hops, but mostly carbonation. And the flavor? Strawberry, all the way! Tasty, zingy, zippy, a real treat for the tongue. Body is medium/light, hops and malt don’t really enter into this brew too much. It’s just strawberry!!! But it’s done very well, and is quite tasty and flavorful, while still being a real beer. Petered out a tad at the end, feeling a little flat. Maybe a 12.7 oz bottle is too much for this beer. We only need a taste for our dessert...

Weak wild strawberry aroma, bit of lambic profile. Not too sweet. Dull hazy red-amber with no head. Medium bodied with light-medium carbonation. Starts very tart and acidic, with lambic and strawberry flavors. Fruity and sour. Light hops in the finish. After has a light strawberry and grain flavor. Tasty, but induces a little heartburn.

Poured a light hazy brownish orange with no head. Main aroma and tastes of strawberries (not overpowering). Sweet. A nice, light dessert beer.

A mediocre lambic. But I have to salute its resoluteness and test of time. I had a bottle that was about 6 years old and it had plenty of fruitness leftove -- I would have guessed that it was brewed yesterday. That said, not enough lambic brett, lactic, or ped. This was a decent hot night beer.

Very dirty brown-red beer; gushing from the bottle to form a rim of white bubbles. Strawberries as in jam of -, bit woody, wet cardboard make out the nose. Imagine strawberry jam being dissolved into soda water, lemon juice, a shot of sweetish ale and, as Tim says, a shot of yoghurt. Well - that’s Chapeau fraises for you. Medium bodied, quite some acids. I’m surprising myself. This isn’t even bad. Compared to some other fruit concoctions popping up left and right...

Pours dark pinkish, with a pink head. Huge aroma of strawberries, some malt. Tastes like strawberries, with sweetness and a little malt at the finish. A little too sweet for my taste, but a very interesting brew nonetheless.

Reddish - brownish, muddy body. No head. Strawberry-sirupe aroma, also some yoghurt. Sweet strawberry flavour. Just another beer-soda from De Troch.

Bottle from The Wine Company, Slough. Looks like murky sewag, I was expecting a clear red, slight off-white head with a tinge of pink. Aroma is of strawberry milkshake. Tastes like a soft strawberry juice drink. Not overly sweet, not at all sour. Tasty beer that would appeal to almost anyone, except perhaps beer drinkers.
