12 oz. bottle poured into tumbler- poured murky darkened carmel, heavy carbonation, white head went away rather quickly. Aroma of false strawberry aroma, like a starburst candy, and cork. HIts the mouth with a weak body, malt is there and not at the same time, overly false strawberry sensation takes over immediately and leaves grit marks on the teeth, finish goes away as quickly as it came. Wheew weee, come here wifey and finish this for me!!! Not bad, because I love their banana one, just not for me with this one.

Bottle from Knightly Spirits in Orlando. Slightly cloudy reddish/yellowish color. With a foamy whitish head. Aroma is strawberries and funky. I smell wood and farmy or earthy smells. Flavor is sweet with strawberries and a bit tart. Not syrupy at all. Not my favorite but not awful by any means.

Tap at ’t Brugs Beertje. Hazy ruby color with a fine pinkish head. Strong strawberry flavor; sweet followed by sour: Very light sour. Finishes sweetish, but the lactic lurks beneath. High quality soda with alcohol. Tasty.

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin og Tobak, Vejle.
Pours unappetizingly brown-red with an initially fizzy dark pink head that settles as a thin film. Aroma is earthy, light funk and okay, not too sweet strawberry. High carbonation, rather thin. Flavour is sweet, not much of any tartness anywhere. Fine strawberry tones though - much more real than fx Früli. Okay.

Bottle. Pours dark red with a off white head. Aroma & taste is sweet & sour- strawberry , yeast, leather & funk. Got the typical earthy, old De Troch feel. OK

Bottled (BB 11/2009)
Dark pinky red color, small pinky head. I was expecting sweet artifical aroma of strawberries, but got papery, sour aroma of old strawberries or strawberry jam (or old socks). Mouthfeel is sticky. Very sweet, strawberry jam flavor, hints of sour milk. Starts sugary but then has sharp sourness in the finish leading to tart aftertaste. Strange fruit lambic, not a total disaster as could expect from Chapeau-line.
