Bottled. What a thing! Arom ainitially of cucumber and strawberry, then turning into raw meat and bacon (!). Taste... ham and sweet, pickled cucumber. God! Looks like old strawberries. We were four drinking this and no-one had a hard time identifying the meaty, pickled cucumber flavours. So weird...

Hazy strawberry colour, tiny head. Tar, bacon and sweet gherkin aroma. Flavour darts all over the place - one minute it’s strawberries and cream; next it’s sweet salty gherkins; next it’s smoky meat. It actually made me laugh out loud it was so unusual, unexpected, and to be frank just plain bizarre. Palate is a pleasantly sharp lambic sourness, and there’s also a simply wheaty body behind it too.

Murky red with tiny beige short lasting head. Sweet and sour aroma with strawberry notes. Light tart flavor with notes of wood and strawberries and leather. Not bad...

Courtesy of Papsoe. It’s incredibly murky orange-brow with a nice head. the aroma is slightly sour with notes of strawberries. The mouthfeel is thick and almost lumpy. The flavour is a bit like strawberry soft ice and it has a light sourness and a heavy touch of butter. It doesn’t seem right, and far from what I expect from a fraise.

Farmy fruity aroma. Brownish cloudy appearance. Much more like real sour lambic than other fruit lambics. Frabjous and galluptious on the palate. A real treat for the taste buds. Finish? What finsh, balderdash, its all gone! Piss me off. This stuff was really good.

Bottle, 25cl. Pours a murky reddish brown with a small, beige-brown head. More of a rim of bubbles than a real head actually. Quite sourish nose with lemon and acidity, as well as a little yeasty and barnyardy touch. Packed with ripe strawberries too. Slightly astringent and thin mouthfeel. Some sticky sweetness too. Flavorwise it’s lemony sour with a little acidic touch. As in the aroma, the strawberries are quite evident, even though the acidity makes it tend towards raspberries. Long, sour, acidic finish with a good dash of sweetness, making it a quite easily accessible beer. Refreshing and easy to drink, but a bit industrial. (080323)

Copper color with a thin head. Strong, slightly sour strawberry. Definitely a liquid Jolly Rancher, strawberry style. A very small bit of sourness. Sweet malt. Really not as bad as the ratings would have you believe.
