Aroma of sweet strawberry jam. Ample effers. Flavors of rotted strawberries, pommegranite and oak wood chips. Mildly tart and moderately sweet. Finish lingers. This stuff is rough. I must’ve shaken this up something fierce.. poured a deep, murky, opaque ruddy brown with a tall cap of pink-tinted darker beige head. The aroma picked up dated, but not-yet-spoiled strawberry sweetness, a little jam, and an underlying funk that was at least a slight bit unsettling. The flavor had the same strawberries, but definitely more tart, and with way too much simple sugar added.. this gave a puckering feeling, but not for the right reasons for a lambic.. musty, oaky notes lurk in the background, which work somewhat well. Tartness lingers on the tip of the tongue even as the super sweetness envelops the rest of the tongue.. too sweet with no semblance of flow to it. yespr (12137), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Fruity strawberry aroma. Quite citric straberry flavoured with mild underlying sweetness lingering into the finish. Starts citric and turns slowly sweet with strawberry flavour on top. Mild lambic woody and sulphorish flavour too. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Aug 26, 2007 Pours a hazy red with fat, unnatural bubbles that fail to form a head. The aroma is awful, notes of faint spoiled strwberries, pesticide-ruined vegetation, mild lambic underpinnings, artificial sweetener galore and a dollop of yeast. The flavor is worse. Light bitterness and mild acidity hint at spontaneous fermentation, then sickening strawberry jam takes hold and doesn’t let go until late in the finish. The mouthfeel is sticky, light-medium bodied, just awful. Not even close to right. Adenila (942), Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 17, 2007 Hazy muddy brown look with almost no head. Aroma of white sugar and strawberry. Flavor was very acidic, and not too sweet, which was nice. But in the end, the flavor was abit weak. Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium
