| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 12, 2009 25cl bottle. Hazy red with a pinkish off white head. Candy, sugar, raspberry, artificial. A bit of dust, wood, wet dog and tartness beneath. Not the worst chapeau. Dickinsonbeer (3496), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 2, 2009 Yes! New Chapeau Rating from PP. Pours a deep red with violet hint- fizzy carb- no head. Aroma is sweet, jammy, raspberry jelly, sugar, and artificial syrup character- yet it has aged and there is some slight salty and paper oxidation as well and a slight salty hint. Flavor is jammy, very sweet, fruit punch and raspberries, bubblegum phenolics, and sweet cane sugar with a syrupy finish. PilsnerPeter (2617), Flushing, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 27, 2009 Bottle: Straight fruit preserves aroma- no subtlety- just a touch of papery cork underneath fruit syrup. Slick and light body. Sugary preserves bombard the flavor. A touch of tartness is there, but it can’t save it. Good for those girls that hate beer, then you convince them otherwise with overly sweet Lambics like this. yngwie (4975), Kristiansand, Norway
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 24, 2009 Bottle, 25cl. It pours a clear, candy-red body under a minimal, beige head. Tart, raspberry-candy nose with white sugar. Sourish, raspberry candy flavor with a good dash of sugary sweetness. Medium, slightly sticky mouthfeel. The finish is rather sweet, with some sourness. It’s a decent blend of lambic sourness and sugary sweetness, but I prefer my framboise without the sugar. (090412) puzzl (2635), New York, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 21, 2009 Bottled. I must admit, I kind of like beers like this. It’s an insult to call them lambic, really, but the fruitiness sometimes works quite well. Very raspberry, pitty aroma, sweet obviously but mostly fruit, this honestly reminds me a lot of Raspberry Tart. The flavor is not as good, rather thin, raspberry notes but a kind of dullish and boring flavor. A cardinal sin, perhaps, but I enjoyed this. oh6gdx (9008), Vasa, Finland
