Nose of tart red raspberries and some sourness. Flavor is sweet-tart, almost like candy, though with a balanced sourness throughout. A bit too syruppy and one-dimensional, but not bad by any means. Dark deep red, not much head. Tart, slighlty sugary rasberry aroma. Sweet and sugary but tart too, acidic in the finish. Rasberry flavors dominate of course. Not so artifical, but too sweet. TheBeerGod (3152), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 24, 2006 Bottle - capped and corked. Pours clouded ruby with a small light pink head. Nose is mostly sweet - raspberry jam, soured raspberry and strawberries, and some sugary notes. Taste is sugary and sweet for the most part but does have a bit of tartness to it. More raspberry jam, some preserve notes, and obviously sugary notes. Body is tart with mild acidic notes and light dryness. Finishes sweet with light tart fruits and rapsberry jam. It’s not a traditional lambic, and everyone knows it, but I like this and it seems to work. I think it would go great with cheesecake. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Flavor is citrusy raspberries, a little too sweet, with a funky finish, not horrible, but nothing great. hair-old (137), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Flavor matched, although there was a touch of acidity that tried to balance it out a bit. This was overwhelmingly fruit syrup, and easily bested by Lindeman’s if that is the style you are going for. Wouldn’t be bad over pancakes though. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

Delicious sweet raspberry with a touch of oak and nice creaminess. I think it tastes fantastic though I can see why some would find it much too sweet. I think the acidity in the finish balances that well enough.
