Amber orange with no head. Very sour vinous vinegar aroma and at the same time very sweet. Mega/Giant sediments in the bottle. Cloying sweet/sour taste. Metallic note. Barely drinkable!

Tried a version aged over 10 years. Appearance was that of a gueuze without carbonation. Aroma very cellary and fruity. The carbonation had totally faded and the tart taste of normal gueuze was gone. I guess it isn’t that tart to begin with. Tasted like apple juice after all these years and very close to a cider. Still I believe this aged version was better than a fresh one.

Bottle at home. Dark amber. Aroma moderate malty (fruity, vinegar). Flavor moderate sweet and acidic. Light body. Not the original gueuze -stuff.

250ml bottle. Hazy golden orange body with an off white head. Some cellar notes in aroma and a bit cider/vinegar. Flavor is sweet and sour in a non harmonic way. Too sweet, almost in the direction of a Faro.

Bottle. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is acid, fruit, yellow apple. Flavour is sweet, cider venegar, acid, fruit. Too much cider venegar for my taste.

Bottled. Clear, golden with an off-white head. Unripe apples, sourness and sweat horse in the nose. The flavor has horseblanket, apples, citrus and notes of cider vinegar. Thin, sticky and astringent body. It is too sweet for a gueuze. (070302)

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Orangebrown colour. Strange "horseblanket" (?) aroma. Very sweet and light acetic flavor. Average finish. Watery palate. Not good.

I ordered a De Troch Geuze and got this :( Bottle, 5.5%. Moldy, sour aroma. Hazy brown colour. OK white head. Sweet, moldy flavour with a hint of sourness. Way too sweet, making it a faro IMO.
