Aug 5, 2007 I didn’t note an overwhelming sweetness, so I guess this is the right place for this rating. This $5.79 bottled brew from a bottle shop in South Bend, IN poured a head of foamy pink hued medium sized bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy with fine particulate pink hued colored body and a poor lacing. The strong aroma was cherry. The dry mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The smooth flavor contained notes of cherry. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Jul 25, 2007 Not quite what I was expecting from a cherry lambic. The taste of tart cherries is here, but there was another flavor. That I could describes as unshelled Walnuts which doesn’t really go well with this. There are better ones out there.

Jul 25, 2007 The aroma has cherries, nuts, sugar, and chemicals. The appearance is red with a thin head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it stinks.

Jul 19, 2007 This fruit lambic pours a hazy cheery red color from a corked and capped 33cl bottle. Medium sized, quickly diminishing white foamy head. Aroma is sour cherries, tart and sweet cherries, there might also be a touch of malt in there as well. A medium bodied fruit lambic. Lots and lots of cherry flavor. Mostly sweet with a hint of tartness. There is a touch of malt and perhaps a little funk somewhere, but this one is mostly sweet cherries. Kind of uneven tasting, but at least its better than the pineapple. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

Jul 8, 2007 Corked bottle. Pink small head that was mostly lasting, minimal lacing, transparent, deep red hue, and visible carbonation, Nose was tart, sweet, sour and cherries. Ditto for the flavor. Tingly mouthfeel and light body. Too sweet and tart for my liking.

Jun 22, 2007 Small bottle. Cloudy deep red colour, no head. Strong sweet flavour of cherries with some sourness. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet and quite a bit sour with cherries. Sweet bit sour cherry finish. Great and refreshing lambiek!
