This is so lemon-y, you can almost taste the zest. It is very nice, though I do not think I could handle more than one at a time.

Aroma of champagne and yeast. looks like a golden pilsner with sediment floating in it. Flavors of sugar, yeast, and lemon. Mildly sour. I was surprised by how good this is. Better than the raspberry.

Delicious and simple. Aroma of sour lemon, funk and nothing else. Pour was a nice medium gold with a one finger near white head. Taste was very acidic and citrusy. Strong lemon in the front and the aftertaste has a sweetness. Goes from lemon juice to lemonade from the time it hits your lips to the aftertaste. Very odd. Nice carbonation and almost could mistake if for a Zima-like drink. Wish this was available locally.

Rich amber colour with large yeasties floating around. Light carbonation. Aroma is sour, spicy, with some gingery notes, light lemon and a slight medicinal quality. Musty and dusty almost gin-like quality. Very tart on the front with fruity flavours of lemon, cherry, and honey. Dusty in the middle with a fairly sweetish finish. Decent complexity and actually pretty tasty. I’m surprised it rates so low.

Bottle, 25 cl. Clear golden-orange color, with a small, white disappearing head. Aroma: lemon, sweet, sour, citric. Light body. Taste begin with sourness, lemon, sweet. Not so bad, for an aperitif.

This is a nicely brewed drink, but citrus just did not seem to lend itself to the style. VERY sour.

Cloudy amber in color, light beige head, minimal lace, and ’chunks’ of sediment in the bottom of the glass, didn’t pour this one right. Nose is sour or better yet citrus, sweet, lemony. Front is extremely sweet, the top light, the finish is tart, dry, acidic, diifferent to be sure.
