Nose is very sweet, plums and other fruits. Not much else. Flavor is slightly sour and tart, which is needed to cut through all the fruity sweetness. Plum does kind of grow on you. Mouthfeel was nicely carbonated. This is a decent dessert beverage, but is too sweet otherwise. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 26, 2006 Opaque buff with minimal head. Sour vinegar and armpit aroma. Very sweet and cloying with a dirty finish. Lingering acidity. Interesting but not immediately appealing. The mild plum flavor kinda grows on you. stouby (1956), Holbaek, Denmark

Hazy peach in colour with a short white head. Sweet plums, musty sour grapes and a citric finish. Slightly sour but mostly just musty and boring. beerBB (132), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 16, 2006 I wasn’t sure about a plum "lambic" but not bad. Very fruity aroma and flavor. a little too sweet but still refreshing and very drinkable. This fruit choice worked for them. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Jun 11, 2006 12 oz bottle from Blue Max in Burnsville, MN (Dec 2005), undated but both label and cork have seen better days, poured at cellar temperature into a Lindemans glass. Dirty, gauzy yellow-gold with some lasting bubble action, moderate slow-receding white head....nose is really unpleasant, rotting old dried fruits in the sun, plastic, cheap powdery sugars and just the faintest hint of barnyardy yeast; its really difficult to force myself to drink this without retching.....wow, unbelievably it’s almost as bad to taste as to smell, initially more rotting, overripe and syrupy juices which just wrack the tongue....eventually giving way to a slightly soothing faint sourness and a touch of metallic edge that seems like welcome relief....low carbonation for the style, sticky and syrupy. The worst "lambic" I’ve ever had, easily. hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Bottle... Murky, golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. The nose is of over-ripe (two days gone) plum, barnyard and wood. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately tart, fruity and woodsy. Medium-bodied and creamy with lively carbonation. Finishes sweet and tangy. Too sweet? Perhaps. Fortified with additional sugar and extract to eliminate what should be an eye-winking sourness? Probably. But, I dig it! stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
