Then you’re much better in sync with what you have in your glass. Pale orangey golden with a small head. Rather sweet and light-bodied with a faint tart finish. Oddly enough this hasn’t much peach flavour. 120598 JorisPPattyn (5192), Antwerpen, Belgium

Carboard, wet velvet, bit of wood, faint fruit - but peach?? Seems oxydized, but is nowhere near the BBD yet. Something sweet, and something tart in the taste. Woody - or triplex, maybe with some glue. Again fruit (dried apricot?), yes, but very faint. Some tartness, some slick sweetness; dry-out effect all the same. Again, not really bad. But not very enjoyable neither. Little sweetness, but what there is, seems chemical. Cornfield (4972), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

The aroma is that of canned, rather than fresh, peaches. The flavor is just peachy with a bit of tang in the sticky finish. Good warm weather fare.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2005 Barnyard aroma with the standard Chapeau aroma of yeast also. Looks like peach juice. There is no sediment in this one. Lots of sugar, some peach, and the lambic sourness at the end. The lemon is better. alaskanwarren (286), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Kind of like a can of peaches. Taste is tarty, peachy. Palate: crisp, smooth, non-lingering. Decent lambic. Inveigler (371), Ferndale, Michigan, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 30, 2004 The aroma on this is incredible. Peaches defintiely -- but more like a peach candy than a real peach I suspect syrup but that is fine in the aroma -- lots of oakiness and tobacco in the nose. The appearance is a little less than desirable due to the huge clods of yeast, minus that the color is good. Oh yeah the peach syrup is there an a little overly sweet, but it really is too bad because I think that the base brew might be rather good. All that said, Ithink this is very drinkable and was pleasantly suprised.
