Sour, more apricot flavour, than peach, great mouthfeel, lots of tongue tingle. Nicely sour but too sweet. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 27, 2004 12.7 oz. green bottle, corked and capped.
Appearance: clear, pale orange color, with a fine, fluffy head, that dwindles away with marked urgency.
Aroma: sour peaches and candy sugar.
Big sourness on first sip, which leaves almost immediately. Nice texture, though, good lip-smacking tang, long-lasting tartness, decent finish.
Light body, light everything, but this is no hefty brew, nor a swigger or a gulper.
Peach flavor is adequate, if unspectacular.
For the price, it’s an okay after-dinner sipper, to slowly while away the digesting time. Later on, we’ll move on to a barleywine, or Imperial stout...
Forgetting the financial factor, no contender for Lindemans, at the least.

| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Sep 22, 2004 I can’t really say this has an authentic peach aroma, but more like those cheap peach-flavored hard candies that old ladies used to hand out at Halloween. Weak and reminiscent of some fruit. Dull medium amber with thin white head. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Had a fruity flavor, but again that fake peach candy taste. Mild maltiness and some really heavy off grain flavor. Mild fruity finish. Aftertaste reminds me of hotdogs, and I don’t know what that taste is ... casing? Not a very good peach lambic. | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Aug 29, 2004 This one is worse then the Framboise.Decent golden/amber color, small white head that faded quickly leaving little behind. The aroma was peach with a fairly sweet side. The flavor was just not there, yes it had the peach flavor but it came off as kind of like peaches in heavy syrup, fairly sweet with just a mild sour coming through at best. There was also an unplesant side as well, that is hard to describe but bad enough to definately make this a lambic worth staying away from. It is another syrupy concoction, suffering from artificial-like flavors and lack of complexity. Pour! jaymobrown (1360), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 20, 2004 I’m not really a fan of this type of beer -- overall too sweet for my taste. There also seems to be aspects of artifical sweetner whether intended or not. This had a nectar sticky sweetness. Full mouthfeel and quite syrupy. diabel (1372), Aarschot, Belgium
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Jun 4, 2004 Clear orange body, no head (almost like cognac). Sweet-peach aroma. Very sweet flavour (lightly peaches). ... sayravai (3750), Helsinki, Finland
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 14, 2004 Slightly hazy, light amber color with no head. Looks like home-made apple juice. Sour, moldy apple aroma. Sweet and sour apple and peach flavor. Flat, sour palate. Can't make myself think of this as a beer, so scoring is pretty hard. Goes down like the home-made apple juice I used to drink as a kid.
