Musty and saccharine tasting upfront, turning tart and woody and finishing sweet again. Interesting beverage that is hard to judge but is definitely too sweet. I was told that this is made with raisins but I don’t get any flavors from them. nuplastikk (1252), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Mellow, lightly sweetened gueuze. Subtle wheat and traditional lambic taste in the background, but mostly sweet and creamy. Super drinkable and enjoyable, but not one for the Oude Gueuze purists. Pours reddish amber with no head at all, completely still. Aroma: slight lacto sour notes and alot of oak, fruit, and sugar. Hazy chestnut with an unusually large tan head for a geuze. Huge sweet aroma of cheap carnival candies, cotton candy, strawberry mixed with slight sour lambic notes, tea leaves, and wood. The flavor is a bit one sided. Candy sugar, with mellow lambic character. There is some herbal bitterness in the back with earth notes. like cough syrup. Doesn’t get better as you drink more.
