Dark red color with white head. Dry cedar and sugar on the nose. Some fruit as well. Body is a little on the sweet side with some spices blended in.

Pours a slightly reddened burnt brown, with a medium white head. Very woody, almost cederlike nose with hints of dust and tart fruit. Tastes like cedar chips and perfume. Yuck, a huge dissapointment.

Quite clear red with a pink head. Horsey, woody, stone fruit pit and cedar aroma. Musty and saccharine tasting upfront, turning tart and woody and finishing sweet again. Interesting beverage that is hard to judge but is definitely too sweet. I was told that this is made with raisins but I don’t get any flavors from them.

375ml bottle. Murky rusty orange-brown colored. Mellow, lightly sweetened gueuze. Subtle wheat and traditional lambic taste in the background, but mostly sweet and creamy. Super drinkable and enjoyable, but not one for the Oude Gueuze purists.

Wintergueuze, Hazy light brown coloured beer with an average carbonation and a small off white head. Light sour, very fruity aroma (strawberries,...) Fruity palate. Finish is sour, fruity (some touches like youghourt) Strange but decent.

12.7 oz bottle courtesy of Dave over at Cricket Hill. Pours reddish amber with no head at all, completely still. Aroma: slight lacto sour notes and alot of oak, fruit, and sugar. Taste is just way too sweet, covers up the traditional lambic characteristics. drinkable, but barely.

37.5cl bottle labeled "Winter Gueuze." Hazy chestnut with an unusually large tan head for a geuze. Huge sweet aroma of cheap carnival candies, cotton candy, strawberry mixed with slight sour lambic notes, tea leaves, and wood. The flavor is a bit one sided. Candy sugar, with mellow lambic character. There is some herbal bitterness in the back with earth notes. like cough syrup. Doesn’t get better as you drink more.
