Smell of old meat and vinegar, flavor is not as strong. Like lychee, sour, makes me a little uncomfortable. Bottle from Sunset Corners, Miami.

bottle. pours auburn with off white head. a chemical aroma with a very odd resin character and throw some mold on top of that too. a sugary very watery beer. like candy water. gross. this beer is proof that the term lambic or gueuze needs more legal protection.

Bottle during the First Annual Sour Tasting, no thanks to Gerrit. Dark amber with murky and pancake beige head 3 Aroma is big sweet and spice and garbage water. Flavor is a sweet mess with spice, some cola, a little medicinal, fruity and grapey. Light body and no carbonation. Awful.

Pours a slightly hazy orange to amber with a smallish, short lived offwhite head. Smell is funky, cork, mold, soggy cardboard and sugar. Taste is sugary with that same funky, wet cardboard and odd flavor. medium body and soft carbonation. Can’t say I like this. I definitely like their other fruity, soda pop like fruit flavor ones better than this.

Deep copper / orange color. Medium high, fine white head. Fragrant aroma of citrus, sweeter fruits like cherry and other dark fruits, and a touch of honey. Sour but a lot of sweetness in the nose as well. Radical sweet-and-sour flavor, like a faro. Very sweet and fruity up front, with a sour, lemony, slightly dryer flavor following. Apples and berries as well. A nice mix, though doesn’t need to be so sweet at the beginning—slightly candy-like. Decent fruit flavors. Relatively high carbonation. Enjoyable and refreshing, though not genuine or excellent.

Bottle. Amber/red pour. No head. Aroma of overripe fruit and old wood. Flavor is sweet. Tastes of overripe fruits, bananas, berries, wood and malt. Not such a good example of the style. Ladies would like it.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a faint hazy amber with nice beige head. Aroma is terrific!!!! Lots of raspberry, also the aroma has a nice twang to it. Flavor is great, raspberry, tart, malt sweetness, nice funkiness. Mouthfeel is medium body with medium fizzy carbonation. Overall, great lambic, I too am confused by the horrible rating this has.....
