Ugh... Pours dark reddish/pink/brown with a thin white/pink head. Flavor is damn near unpalatable. Quite sweet. Very tart. And lots and lots of dirt and wet wood. Very acidic, but far from in a good way. Stewed vegetables (broccoli?). This is one wretched gueuze. unclemattie (2437), Georgia, USA

Pours like and oxidized WhiteZinfandel. Aroma of fruit. Cranberrries? Hey, it’s a Cranberry Lambic! Raspberry syrup. Flavor is of wood and sun dried fruit. This one actually tastes how it smells. Why HATE?? Santa is holding up his glass! kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Bottle thanks to degarth at home. Aroma is very sweet tropical fruits, sugary, very sweet indeed. Taste is similar, cloying and syrupy. Oakes (8142), Kowloon, Hong Kong
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 28, 2008 A little bit muddy. A stroke of sugary genius, this gueuze doesn’t even bother teasing me with a funky nose - a candied wheat beer with a slight lemon accent. Even a small glass is plenty. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Amber color. Profoundly sweet-smelling. Sugary flavors are initially like grape juice, then round out to a farina-like cereal ending. Thin palate. Not bad but way too sweet for my liking. ChainGangGuy (2613), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Mar 20, 2008 Appearance: Pours a garnet-hued body with a fizzy, off-white head.
Smell: Shocking aroma of noxious weeds, spoiled cherries, and wound-tainted gauze bandages.
Taste: Bottom-shelf cherry cordial with a sharp, cheap sweetness and notes that you dare not identify lest they come hunt you down like a dog in the night. Odd, relentless astringency throughout. A beer as painful as the realization that Santa does not exist.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Legendarily bad! A "What Were They Thinking" kind of beer. shp555 (1690), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Pours a cherry red color with a slight white head. Aroma is musty old wet wood and mold. Flavor is sweet raspberry, not quite as syrupy as some of their other beers and a slight mold aftertaste.
