Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a faint hazy amber with nice beige head. Aroma is terrific!!!! Lots of raspberry, also the aroma has a nice twang to it. Flavor is great, raspberry, tart, malt sweetness, nice funkiness. Mouthfeel is medium body with medium fizzy carbonation. Overall, great lambic, I too am confused by the horrible rating this has.....

Nice slightly hazy golden amber coloured body with a dense tan head. Absolutely beautiful aroma of lemons, raisins, figs, spice, malt, alcohol and even a faint twang of bananas. Medium-bodied; Strong malty flavour with yeast, spice and tons of fruit flavours noticeable. Aftertaste is very pleasant - very sweet, yet showing some substance and complexity. Overall, a good fruit lambic - very sweet like most of their beers, but showing some carbonation unlike their others. Definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 37.5 cL split bottle purchased from Beer Maina in Bruxelles, Belgium yesterday on 12-March-2008 in London, England.

Bottled and aged:
Aroma is winey, with an intensive cidre note. Light brown color. Pleasant notes of appleas and peach, velvety, light sweet, refreshing. Notes of candies. Pleasant fruity and refreshing. A nice drink, maybe because it was a vinetage?

Bottle 37,5 cl @ home (bought Geers) Amber color with a creamy off-white head. Aroma fruits, malt, sweet. Medium body. Taste sweet, fruit, and sourness. Not bad, but i’ll expected more.

<i>Belgian Beer Fest at the Muddy Pig.<i> I believe this was at least a two year old bottle. Copper color with no head. Light aroma of cherries and wood. The cherry lingers through the taste. Very sugary... I’m thinking brown sugar. Just enough sourness to be noticeable. Viscous. I honestly don’t see what’s bad about this at all. It might be closer to a strongly sour Flemish, but I am a fan.
