Bottle Keizer Karel Charles Quint Aroma: caramel, malt, metal and a bit of rich fruit. Apperance: deep red brown with a tan head made from large bubbles that dissipates quickly. Flavour: caramel, some roasty notes with a hint of alcohol burn. Palate: thich and well carbonated.

Bottle. Poured mahogany with a thick off-white head. Aroma was full of sweet malts and a bit of a coca cola aroma to it. Flavor was one note malt through out and a bit sweet. There was a strong alcoholic kick towards the end.

23rd February 2008. Smooth brown beer. Very creamy with a distinct chocolate milkshake feel. Smooth, sumptuous, soft, superb!

bottle, nice dark brown colour with beige head. Fruity smell and sweet and bitter taste. Not to complex beer but decent.

Bottle, 33 cl. A brwon, redish coloured beer with a medium head. A caramel, dark fruited aroma, some sweetness and spices included. Smell is also dark fruited with the light caramel notes on the background, a light bitter finish. A good average beer, but maybe a bit too much the same. Some more complexity would have been better for the beer.

Bottle 鶊ml) Shared with GregClow and biegaman who is WRONG WRONG WRONG about everything - thanks to glouglouburp. Best before 2008. Clear light gold pour, average creamy/frothy white head, serious lace. Sweet yeasty/fruity aroma - a little dusty, Taste - similar, apple, yeast, dry floral bitterness - 9%? really? - pretty nice. Light but chewy body, yeasty and spicy, dry - solid, really.

I found it in Madrid on a wine store in María de Molina. Loved the aroma, has something fruity on it, the appearance is magnetic. This is a good one.

On tap at Gollem, Amsterdam. Dark amber, medium head, short retention. Aroma of raisins, fruits and spice. Quite discrete aroma. As it warms up, I get more raisins and some alcohol in the aroma. Taste is slightly metallic, some raisins and red fruits. Small bitterness. An ok beer overall but nothing really special.
