Aroma - not as bad as the other CBs - does have that slight yeasty twang to it though. Pour is uneventful and pale yellow with a thin clingy head. Flavor is initially smooth and carbonated but then settles into the familiar Gluek meltdown - is there an atomic plant in Cold Spring? The can looks like a budget Club Soda can. I should have expected as much for $5.49/12 at Albertson's. Clingy, starchy, tart flavor. Specimen colored. So-so can, lousy packaging. Lots of chemical Gluek character. Even the wife didn't like this... uglybastard (101), Riverside, California, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Aug 27, 2002 Pours out of the can with a nice sized head wich fades down to a thin layer. Clear yellow body with rising bubbles througout the brew.Smells of corn with a slight hoppyness in the background. Milky sourness (not soured milk) that realy bites you on the end. Very rough beer. I was wondering why this was only 3.99 for a 12er. Might have to pawn this off on my macroswill-loving pop (god bless him).

Osco had it on sale for $3.99 a 12 pack. The kind of beer you give to your brother-in-law while you save the good stuff for yourself. Puss Gutt99 (206), Oldtown, Florida, USA

I’m starting to think that frederick scholz changed his name. And god knows theres going to be a light version and someday i will find it.
