Nose of corn, fusel alcohols, grainy, floral hops. A metallic sharp watery taste with mild grainyness. Fairly boring and not fun. Booo! PorterPounder (3147), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Light head, quickly dissipating. Light golden in appearance. Aroma - that patented Gluek twang - slighty sour and yeasty. No real flavor - just that yeasty twang and a lot of carbonation. The black can is kind of cool though - have to give them credit for that! nick76 (2684), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Apr 11, 2003 Updated: Apr 29, 2003Slight crackery, peppery lager aroma. Lackluster packaging, medium-pale gold beer with tall webby head that clings to the glass as it dies off. No hops, tartish and it loses almost all fizz immediately. Watery. If this were 7% ABV, then there might be some slight redemption, but as it stands it's just cheap, bad beer. Vac (2394), San Diego, California, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jun 29, 2004 This liquid has a piss colored body with little head or lacing. Umm...the aroma is sweet and somewhat well-balanced leaning towards malty with notes of corn syrup. There’s practically no flavor at all. What is there is slightly sweet and malty with a corn syrup note. Very light bodied, watery and smooth. mjg74 (2000), La Mesa, California, USA
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Aug 7, 2004 Tastes pretty lousy. It has a weird taste like some malt liquors, but lacks the kick or the strength. Was $3.99 for a twelver, so I don’t feel too bad. The cans do look cool though. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Oct 16, 2004 Pale yellow. Fizzy head. Nose of sweet malts and lemony citrus hops. Slight hint of corn. Wow. That isn’t very stimulating at all. Sour grains and slightly bitter citrus flavors. Watery. No discernable palate whatsoever. I concur with Jordo on this one. BOOOO! or something. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Nov 4, 2001 This truly tasted like water. Much better than its brother beer freddy scholz. What the hell is with the names of these any way all three types are like a guys full name. Are these real people from old europe? Anyway, for the price its better than natty light which is the only beer as cheap as this. As I try to finish this I have to slightly alter my opinion. This is about as ass bad as ass can be. 2nd only to scholz.
