Commercial Description:
While respectfully following the guidelines of this traditional British ale, we added a truly American twist. Using 100% U.S. grown hops throughout the brew, a complex variety of imported and domestic malts, and a truly unique British yeast, the result is a well balanced India Pale Ale. One that exemplifies the classic style, yet brings with it the flavors and aromas of our American hop innovations without forgetting the barley.

Golden body with a white head. Light aroma, hops are there with some fruit. IPA taste is light, some grain. Rather bland ending.

Hazy carbonated amber, frothy creamy off-white head. Faint hoppy aroma. Thick mouthfeel, very hoppy flavour with some malts. Bread-like. And in response to River’s rating... I do like licking envelopes.

This IPA is a cloudy, golden color with a white head. It has a sweet, almost citrusy aroma with a creamy, bitter flavor and a touch of spice and sweetness. I was a bit disturbed by the combination hoppy and envelope-adhesive-esque aftertaste.

This is a good IPA. Plenty of frothing as the head formed and lacing. The color is a light gold. The hops were well balanced with the malt. The citrus flavors were evident with moderate bitterness. This was purchased at the Caboose in Ashland.

Pour a light amber with a small head, looks nothing like cat-piss. Aroma is cat-piss. Flavor is cat-piss, with a touch of cat-piss, and lots of cat-piss in the finish. Leaves you with a strong taste of cat-piss. Did I mention this beer tastes and smells exactly like cat-piss? This is literally the single worst beer I’ve ever had. I can’t tell if its excess cascade hops without the malt to balance it or if its a brett infection. It was crystal clear and relatively fresh, so I’m doubting the brett infection. Its just so cat pissy I can’t stand it. Well, I paid $8.00 for this six pack which 5 of 6 are going into the garbage, so I feel its my duty to tell the world how much this beer tastes like cat piss. Exactly like cat-piss, that’s how much this beer tastes like cat-piss.

I thought this was a tastey little IPA. A smooth IPA with some real malts. Although quite floral on the nose and grapefruity on the palate. Had it in a bottle at Brickskeller.

Orange-amber with small white head. Mild floral hops aroma. Nice balance of floral hops and malt. A classic IPA.

Bottle, Brickskeller. Clear rich dark yellow color, almost orange in color. Sweet oily hops, reminding me of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Very slightly tinny in the nose, with more of a rich honey character. Crisp, fresh tasting, flavors of honey and herbs, oily, resiny hops. Oily but then frothy on the palate. Overall a respectable IPA.
