Commercial Description:
While respectfully following the guidelines of this traditional British ale, we added a truly American twist. Using 100% U.S. grown hops throughout the brew, a complex variety of imported and domestic malts, and a truly unique British yeast, the result is a well balanced India Pale Ale. One that exemplifies the classic style, yet brings with it the flavors and aromas of our American hop innovations without forgetting the barley.

An orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is rather hoppy and grassy, from a somewhat weird hop. The flavor is like newly mowed grass, the hop note covers the palate like a film - nice for a hop head, towards the end notes of grapefruit appears and lasts for a long time.

opaque burnt orange, whispy beige head, touch of lace, carmel malt aroma with soft floral hops, lots of bitter hop flavor on top of slightly sweet carmel malt, the carmel malt character is nice but overshadowed by the bitter hops,

Draft... ODBF2006... Clear, golden ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Grapefruit, tea and honey in the aroma. Well-balanced flavor. Plenty sweet, but moderately bitter. Full-bodied with not-quite-medium carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish.
