All the appropriate fruity, bubble gum-like esters and spicy phenols with a touch of smoke thrown in. The flavor’s a little too sweet and too heavy on the clove. Medium-bodied and a touch oily with lively carbonation. Spicy finish. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

Typical banana, clove and citrus flavour, but perhaps a bit more carbonated than German wheats. Drinkable, but maybe a little dull. Cletus (5057), Connecticut, USA

It smells like this might be getting an infection. Or should I say has one and growing quickly. Wheaty malt flavor and a light body. Not much going on other than the new life. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 25, 2006 Bottle: Bright and clear yellow, with a quickly built and quickly dismantled white foam dressing. Broad yeasty banana aroma. Bit of a gristy clove flavor with a soapy feel. The whole mouthfeel is reminiscent of a fizzy macro, but it delivers a very basic HW character in the flavor. Eh ...
