Not paying attention this shot up a big whipped cream head that faded with patchwork lace. Nose is pastry dough, rose water, cut grass and light pepper. Tingly, slick mouthfeel that’s syrupy and resiny but balanced and softened. Taste is lemon candy, caramel, green apple, spearmint, pink grapefruit and white pepper. What a wonderful hop melange. sloth (1678), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 27, 2008 Large white head, good retention and lace. Lightly hazy gold color. Nose is spicey, floral and grassy, too much so for me. Body is lightly medium, overly carbonated and somewhat oily. Alot of grassy, floral hop flavors with a lightly sweet malt backing, fairly dry and spicey. Dry grassy finish with a light breadyness. Damn AmBelgique IIPAs, dont get it. Thanks cletus! | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Dec 24, 2008 Bouteille de 750 ml vieillie 1 an. Excellent kegbear (272), Orange, California, USA

Huge thick creamy head with nice lacing. Aroma of hay, bread, and spice. Tastes of hay, spice, bread, pepper. A beautiful ale on all counts. dmac (1488), Toms River, New Jersey, USA

Clear orange gold body with small clinging carbonation and a large frothy white head. Aroma is very spicey and peppery with notes of yeast and flowers. Medium bodied with average carbonation a slightly dry finsih and a long lingering finish. Flavor has notes of licorice, earth, yeast, flower petals and even a touch of mint. Very complex and if you prefer saisons or a beer along those lines you will love this one. eaglefan538 (2383), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Bottle shared by sloth. Poured with a big huge head, lots of carbonation, huge rocky and pilloy nature to the head, continuous rings of lacing all the way down. One of those trendy 3ipa bsa deals, been liking my last several. Floral, minty, some lighter candi sugar flavors, faint yeast, good stuff, but man I had no idea it was above 4.0 on RB - and still cannot really believe it. Thanks, Bert! Taste was a light hop flavor but I am not a fan of the saaz hops. Grassy and dry. Minty? Texture was a little thin. Not bad or good, making it an average beer. Thanks for sharing bert! alobar (1026), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
